REVIEWS

quote This authentic Chinese food restaurant on Dominion Road may not have the most inviting look and feel, but the food speaks for itself. My fiancée and I decided to try it out before heading to Eden Park to watch an All Blacks game. We ordered Taro Balls, Dry Noodles with Peanut Sauce (large size), and Dumplings with Spicy Sauce (medium size). The portions were generous and perfect for two people, and the prices were quite reasonable. The Taro Balls, in particular, were exceptionally well-fried and delicious – highly recommended! The peanut sauce noodles were also tasty, with ample portions that we thoroughly enjoyed. The dumplings, while similar to those at other Chinese restaurants, were still quite good. Overall, this restaurant provided us with a satisfying dinner. Highly recommended for anyone who loves Chinese food.

quote Been eating here for a few years now. One of the most authentic Chinese restaurants on Dom Road. Great noodles, wontons, dumplings and other rice dishes. Top customer service they remember my orders when I go in. Not a fancy atmosphere but you go there for the authentic food and flavour. Highly recommend!

quote The “taro sweet potatoes” is a MUST TRY. Deep fried sweet potato batter with taro paste inside. The outside is super light and crispy into a chewy mochi texture into a sweet taro paste. Only $8 for 8 as well, what a deal. Prices are super reasonable compared to other chinese restaurants these days.. Might be my new go to for chinese takeout :)

quote Food:(3/5) Had the Fujian wontons but the fillings were very bland and the wontons soup was super greasy. The peanut butter sauce noodles were very tasty but still too oily. The braised beef and potatoes on rice was very average and the beef was a bit tough. Service was very fast because no customers.

quote We came to this place serveral times for lunch and dinner. It was a small restaurant but pleasant. Service was friendly. The food was tasty and with a reasonable serving for the price. If you are keen on noodles, try this place. You will not be disappointed.
